Matthew Williamson for Lindex - Together fighting breast cancer

This year Lindex joins forces with world famous London based fashion designer Matthew Williamson to raise funds to the fight against breast cancer.

The world renowned designer Matthew Williamson has worked with Lindex to bring his highly recognizable signature aesthetic and sense of style to a unique design collection. A master of print, embellishment and kaleidoscopic colour the British designer has incorporated his key hallmarks into a collection of refined and feminine pieces for women.

“Working with Lindex has been a great opportunity to create a designer line at a more affordable price point and reach a new group of fashion conscious women,” says Matthew Williamson about the collaboration. “It was also important for me to have creative freedom, which Lindex were happy to do – together we have created something really special.”

The result is a stunning collection for women and girls in a colour palette of ink blue tones, black, pops of hot pink and lots of print and beaded details. Matthew describes the collection as “a working wardrobe for the modern woman”. He also tells that the inspiration was loosely based on the idea of the English rose, “I imagine the wearer in a fantastic stately home in the English country side for a long weekend”.

The collection is the perfect accompaniment to weekends, the office, the workplace right through to evening events.

The Matthew Williamson Lindex collection will be released on October 4 in selected Lindex stores and at www.lindex.com. With 10% of the sales of the collection going direct to fund breast cancer research, there is no better way to both look and feel good.
