New CFO and Marketing Manager of Lindex

AB Lindex has today announced the appointments of Chief Financial Officer and Marketing Manager As previously announced, the Board of Directors of AB Lindex adopted a restructuring of the Senior Management on 22 October 1998. Anders Niklasson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and will join Lindex from SCA Hygiene Products AB where he has held the post of Division Controller. He succeeds Leif Larsson who has been appointed Executive Vice President and who will mainly be responsible for Investor Relations. Anders Niklasson will join Lindex on 1 March 1999. In addition, Gunnel Simonsson has been appointed Marketing Manager. She has been an employee of Lindex since 1991 and her most recent appointment was Purchasing Manager Lingerie/Hosiery of AB Lindex which has a sales volume of more than SEK 1 billion. Gunnel Simonsson is currently on parental leave and will start her new job on 1 February 1999. As previously announced, the present Marketing Manager, Anders Jansson, will assume responsibility for the new International Section within the Senior Management in which the operations in Norway, Finland and Germany are consolidated.
