New head of Group Communications & Investor Relations in AB Lindex appointed Åsa Lindell Byström has been appointed Head of Group Communications & Investor Relations. She will be included in the Executive Management and will join Lindex in November. Åsa Lindell Byström was previously head of corporate communications in Stena Line AB. In step with the strong growth in the company, the need for co-ordination of operations-orientated and financial communications has increased significantly in a long-term and consistent way. "Åsa Lindell Byström has many years' experience from leading positions in the information area which will strengthen Lindex's communications profile still further," says Hans Johansson, President and CEO of Lindex, in a comment. Leif Larsson, who previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and later became Executive Vice President and Head of Investor Relations, will leave Lindex for health reasons in connection with the Annual General Meeting in January 2001.
