News release from the Annual Meeting of shareholders in AB Lindex

The Annual General Meeting of shareholders in AB Lindex, held on 19 December 2006, approved the Board of Directors’ proposal to pay a dividend to the shareholders of SEK 5.00 per share. 22 December 2006 was set as the record date for the right to receive a dividend. The Dividend will be paid through Swedish Central Securities Depository & Clearing Organisation on 29 December 2006.

Christer Gardell, Conny Karlsson, Bengt Larsson, Lars Otterbeck and Nora Förisdal Larssen were re-elected as Board Members of AB Lindex. Emma Wiklund and Monika Elling were elected as Board Members. Emma Wiklund has worked as a model, columnist and presenter in the fashion trade for around 20 years. During her years in the fashion trade, Emma has built up an extensive international network of contacts. For the past two years Emma has worked as a Lindex model and fashion reporter. Emma Wiklund has no other board assignments and owns 1,500 shares in Lindex.

Monika Elling is an MBA graduate. She has been CFO of Intrum Justitia AB since 2005. Earlier, Monica was responsible for the analysis of Service and Trading Companies within Enskilda Securities. Her work included monitoring the fashion trade, including Lindex, and she has extensive sector knowledge both from within Sweden and internationally. Before that, Monika Elling held different positions in a number of Swedish companies, including Securitas and Assa Abloy. Monika Elling has no other board assignments and owns 2,000 shares in Lindex. Lars Förberg did not stand for re-election.

Conny Karlsson was elected as Chairman and Christer Gardell as Vice Chairman.

The employees have appointed Lillan Thorén and Rigmor Lindbäck, HAF, as Board Members. Alice Eriksson, HAF, and Rune Lindstrand, HTF, have been appointed as Deputy Board Members.

Remuneration of the Board of Directors was set at SEK 2M and will be distributed between the Board Members according to the following structure: The Chairman SEK 500,000, the other Members elected by the Annual Meeting of shareholders 200,000 each and SEK 300,000 for committee work. Subject to the committees having the same number of members as in the previous year, this will be distributed as follows: The Chairman of the Audit Committee will receive SEK 100,000 and the other members of the committees SEK 50,000 each.
