Secondhand baby pyjamas from Lindex to rent at Hyber

Lindex continues to explore and test new services and business models as part of its circular transformation. The fashion company has previously piloted several initiatives within secondhand and now offers the rental of secondhand baby pyjamas together with Hyber.

‘Through our secondhand take-back programme and previous pilots, we have seen that our baby pyjamas can be sold several times over which is a fine receipt that our focus on longevity pays off. Together with Hyber, we are now doing a test where we combine secondhand and rental. It’s a way for us to broaden our offer and at the same time gain valuable insights in our continued work to prolong the life of our garments’, says Annette Tenstam, Strategic Lead Circularity & Environmental Sustainability.

The pyjamas, which are rented in sets of three and available in sizes 56-86, will be available for rent at Hyber, the Nordics leading rental service for kids’ products, from April 18.

‘For us at Hyber, this is a groundbreaking opportunity to revolutionise the way we consume kids’ clothes. Together with Lindex, we are now taking a powerful step forward towards a more sustainable future where we offer our customers affordable, environmentally friendly, and circular solutions that change the playing field in kids clothing. By extending the life of the garments, we reduce our collective footprint on the planet and show that we can make a difference’, says Olivia Rothschild, CEO at Hyber.

Exploring circular business models is an important part of Lindex’s circular transformation and sustainability promise – to make a difference for future generations. One of the fashion company’s goals is that the entire assortment will be designed for longevity and/or circularity by 2025.
