Linklaters advises Netel Group on merger with Infrea and fully secured rights issue
Linklaters advises Netel Group AB (“Netel”) on a combined transaction comprising of a statutory merger with Infrea AB (“Infrea”) and a fully secured rights issue of up to SEK 127 million and overallotment issue of up to SEK 75 million.
Netel and Infrea have jointly announced their intention to implement a merger between the companies in accordance with the Swedish Companies Act. The merger will create a leading Northern European platform for infrastructure services with combined revenues of approximately SEK 5 billion. The combined group is expected to benefit from significant synergies and strategic advantages, as the companies are complementary in terms of service offering and customer exposure and operate in partly distinct geographical markets.
