Lipidor: New CEO at helm as company gears up for IPO
Ola Holmlund begins as Lipidor’s new CEO on September 1. With a powerful track record in Business Development and Strategic Sales, Holmlund says: “Lipidor is an exciting company with an exceptional technology, AKVANO, that I am confident could be the base for a wide range of new dermatological products worldwide. I’m delighted to be aboard.”
Most recently Head of Sales at Kibion AB, Ola Holmlund has served in senior sales and business development roles in a wide range of technology and life science companies for more than 20 years, including Biolin Scientific AB, COSMED srl, and Aerocrine AB He has a BSc in Business Administration from International University of Monaco, and is a Certified Coach with the COPA International Coaching Community.
“Natural lipids have many advantages as components in topical products, and all these are fully exploited in the AKVANO technology. I’m convinced Lipidor’s lipid-based topical spray technology AKVANO has the potential to break through as one of the top preferred delivery systems for a whole range of dermatological applications,” says Holmlund. “As shown by it being the delivery technology of choice for new psoriasis treatment Calcipotriol Spray, now in Phase III trials. I’ll be bringing all my skills and experience to listening, learning and driving Lipidor forward towards making AKVANO the huge commercial success it can be.”
