MediaCore helps schools add high quality videos to Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard with new plug-ins
MediaCore, the cloud-based video education platform, is helping schools, colleges and universities to add high quality video to the Moodle, Blackboard and Canvas Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) with its latest plug-ins. MediaCore’s plug-ins make it quicker and easier for schools, colleges and universities to embed video and other media into their posts and pages from their institution’s MediaCore library. This means restrictions that can be typical in many VLEs such as file size, storage and file types are no longer a problem. In addition, users can choose who views the video with MediaCore’s flexible permission system.
MediaCore’s plug-ins are available for existing MediaCore users or new users can sign up for a FREE educator account and access today.
MediaCore is also showcasing its new Document Viewer which allows teachers and lecturers to add Microsoft Office documents, PDFs and photos to their MediaCore library. This means students can now access anything whether it’s a reading list, an image resource sheet, or a full assignment or simply a video.
Available to try out on the MediaCore stand will be the latest version of MediaCore’s Capture app. Redesigned for iOS7, it lets users record and share HD video on the go from an iPad or iPhone as well as making it easy to capture and upload images.
