New appointments at Turning Technologies boost its international team
Building brand awareness and providing further support to customers and resellers in the EMEA region
Turning Technologies, global leader in voting, polling and assessment systems used by schools, universities and corporations across the world, has announced three new appointments to support customers and distributors throughout its expanding EMEA region.
Jay Carpenter has transferred from the company’s U.S. team to become a senior account manager. In his new role, Jay will be responsible for cultivating higher education markets. Jay has been with Turning Technologies since 2011, previously working as an account executive in the U.S.-based higher education division, where he developed business opportunities with universities, gaining valuable experience and insight into the future of higher education.
Commenting on his appointment, Jay Carpenter said; “I am excited to work in the UK as Turning Technologies continues to expand globally and stay ahead of the curve in the audience response market. I’m looking forward to contributing to the tremendous opportunities which exist to integrate Turning’s solutions in learning, meeting and training environments.”
The second new appointment is in the Middle East and North Africa region, where Sanharib Mirza has joined Turning Technologies as an account executive, supporting a portfolio of accounts and resellers. Focusing on new business opportunities and building a territory-based resellers network, Sanharib will also promote Turning Technologies’ products at education and training exhibitions throughout Europe and the Middle East and into universities throughout the region. Formerly employed as a commercial manager with Blue Wash BV and Intercare Dubai, Sanharib has many years experience in building and maintaining successful relationships with distributors, including setting up and running a network of master franchisees in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Finally, Polina Rukhalenko has been appointed internal sales representative, responsible for sales support in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, where she will build up and support the network of distributors and resellers in countries throughout the region. With a proven track record in order management, export documentation support and handling technical questions and requests, Polina also has varied experience working with end users, resellers and distributors, gained with previous employers SKF BV and Extron Electronics.
