Livsdal's offer - clean air as a service for your office

Report this content

After the summer, the offices will be populated again, and for many employers, it is a priority to create safe working environments where viruses such as Covid-19 cannot be spread. An important tool as a precaution is air purifiers from Livsdal that can now be rented - at a cost that in this context is negligible.

During the spring, Livsdal strengthened the organization with sales manager Peppe Ekmark, whose career testifies to a solid background and high ambitions. In addition to a long experience of sales and successes that have won awards, he is also active as an inspirer, lecturer, teacher of courses and author.

- When we met Peppe, he exclaimed: "Fantastic! I want to be part of this journey.” He saw that the timing was perfect, because the product is just in time. But he also challenged us by changing  the offer. Instead of selling our air purifiers, he suggested that we rent them out, says Andreas Murray, one of Livsdal's founders.

Average price of SEK 400 per employee

Livsdal's offer today therefore means clean air as a service, which means that companies rent an air purifier in a standard version of 36 months for around SEK 2,500 per month, including service and filter changes. For a more exclusive model in wood, the monthly cost is around SEK 4,000. The number of air purifiers and location is determined based on each office. – Based on floor plans and number of employees in the offices we have been to so far in Stockholm, we have seen that there are about five people on an air purifier, which means a monthly cost of about SEK 500 per employee. If we imagine that an employee has SEK 50,000 in salary, which gives a total cost of close to SEK 100,000 with social security contributions, work tools, premises, wellness, education and more, the cost of clean air is extremely small. And our picture is confirmed by the fact that no one has so far had any objections to the price, says Peppe Ekmark.

The model provides ongoing income

The hope is that the new business model will make more companies want to create a work environment free of viruses and bacteria, which in practice means increased employee presence, increased well-being and better performance.

For Livsdal, the new business model means recurrent income, instead of non-recurring income, which means that the company over time receives 2-3 times higher income per completed business, compared with the previous model.
