Luton Vehicle Repairer Celebrates Top Achievement
The owner of Luton-based cosmetic vehicle repair specialist Revive!, Adam Smith, is celebrating becoming one of the most highly qualified technicians in his field after months of studying and examinations.
Adam specialises in repairing minor scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels, has achieved full ATA accreditation which means he has a very high level of expertise and industry knowledge and is amongst the top mobile smart repairers in the UK.
Organised by the Institute of the Motor Industry, the accreditation involves a series of rigorous practical assessments and a knowledge test, all under strict examination conditions.
Adam, who set up the business in 2009 strives to give his customer the highest quality of service. On- going training is a key aspect of this and he devoted a lot of his free time to preparing for the accreditation.
“Any tradesperson who is serious about the quality of their work knows that there is always more to learn,” explained Adam. “Developing my skills and keeping up with changes in the industry – such as new products and techniques – is important to me. It gives customers the assurance that I’m at the top of my game, and that they can trust me to carry out expert repairs of the highest quality.
“I’m proud of this achievement. There are a lot of people out there carrying out cosmetic repairs without any qualifications or proper knowledge. Having an industry recognised ATA accreditation shows my customers that I have a high level of expertise and they can trust me to do a good job on their vehicle.”
Revive!’s customers include car dealerships, manufacturers and private motorists. Cosmetic repair is a top quality, cost effective and time-saving alternative to taking the vehicle to a bodyshop for minor paintwork or alloy wheel repairs. Costing far less than the average insurance policy excess, the work is carried out at a time and place to suit the customer, minimising vehicle downtime and protecting the owner’s no claims bonus.
