Efforts to carry out operational activities in the divisions while streamlining staff functions continue.

Markus Petäjäniemi will assume the position as Senior Vice President, Technology and Process Development on June 1 (Petäjäniemi is currently an acting Senior VP). In connection with this, a reorganisation will take place at unit level, which means that the functions within the unit Sales and Logistics are distributed between the Northern Division and the Technology and Process Development unit. At the same time, the Technology and Process Development unit will change its name to Market and Technology.

The logistics department will continue to have a group-wide assignment, but will organisationally belong to the Northern Division. Jan Lundgren, currently acting VP, Sales and Logistics, will be transferred to the position as Head of department, Logistics.

The number of employees is not affected by the reorganisation.

Trade union negotiations with respect to these changes were completed on 16 May. The changes will take effect as of 1 June, 2019.
