Region’s top IT specialists Taylor Made and National Motor Museum

Staff members from Hampshire-based IT experts Taylor Made Computer Solutions are celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their relationship with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in the New Forest. IT specialists Taylor Made Computer Solutions, based in Fareham, first started working with the prestigious tourist attraction in 1999 when a review of electrical equipment throughout the site was carried out; Taylor Made implemented a simplified support system and standardised hardware, making processes more efficient. It’s not just the ‘behind the scenes’ systems that Taylor Made has impacted on. Specialists from the company have also assisted with the introduction of a new EPOS system at the Motor Museum, making sure credit card systems are both efficient and secure. They have worked closely with onsite staff to formulate an IT strategy which has recently included the introduced of a mass storage solution and associated tape backup to meet the demands of the extensive digital photographic library held by the National Motor Museum Trust Limited. Russell Bowman, Managing Director of Beaulieu Enterprises said: “A lot has happened in the ten years we have been working together, technology has moved on and there have been many changes to systems and software. I am delighted that with Taylor Made’s help we have always been one step ahead of the game, which has made a positive impact on our services to visitors.” Taylor Made’s support hasn’t stopped with technical support; the training arm of the company, Taylor Made Training Solutions has provided desk top training for the members of Beaulieu’s professional team.
