It was Christmas all over again for three young shoppers who won sacks of toys from Fareham Shopping Centre

Fareham Shopping Centre is renowned for holding free competitions for its customers throughout the year, and this Christmas saw three more lucky young shoppers walk away with prizes from stores in the Centre. On Christmas Eve, three lucky children were chosen as the winners of the Centre’s Christmas Colouring Competition and they all received their prizes today. The competition was split into three age categories and the winners, Chloe Turner from Funtley, Lucy Hackett from Portchester and Elisha Harris from Fareham, each took home a sack full of toys from the Early Learning Centre, Hawkin’s Bazaar, Boots and Birthdays – all of which are popular stores in the Centre. “It was really hard choosing the winners,” said Centre Director Pam Marsden. “We had a huge pile of entries and it was so obvious that the children had put a lot of effort into their pictures.” She added: “It is a pity that we couldn’t make all of them winners, but there will always be more opportunities for them to win prizes when they visit the Centre.” More competitions are on their way in January, including the Centre’s monthly online puzzle competition for kids and a chance to win a break in Paris for ‘grown-ups.’ To find out more about Centre promotions, competitions and information about the huge range of shops on offer, visit www.farehamshopping.com or follow them on Twitter. -Ends- Words: 256
