Fareham Shopping Centre is recognised at regional ‘Bloom’ awards

Fareham Shopping Centre has received an award for excellence in the ‘South and South East In Bloom’ competition which is organised by The Royal Horticultural Society. The Centre’s award recognises their support to the ‘Fareham In Bloom’ competition over the past year and their contribution to keeping the outdoor areas surrounding the Centre attractive and welcoming for residents and visitors. Centre Manager, Pam Gillard, was thrilled to accept the award on behalf of the Centre and commented: “Fareham and the Shopping Centre work hard to keep the town looking good and it really does benefit us all. It makes the town a much more pleasant place to live and work; it develops community spirit, local pride and brings visitors to the area. The award was presented to Pam Gillard at an awards evening earlier this month which saw Fareham once again receive the prestigious accolade of Overall Regional Winners. Pam added: “I compered the awards night and I had no idea this award was coming. It was a big shock, but a lovely surprise.”
