Computer firm recruits work experience student who kept on coming back

A familiar face has permanently joined the team at Hampshire-based IT service provider, Taylor Made Computer Solutions. David Hurhangee made his first appearance at the firm in 2004, undertaking work experience at their Fareham offices when he was just 15 years old. Since then, David has returned to Taylor Made every summer while studying at college and subsequently University where he completed a degree in Network Computing and Mobile Technology Engineering. After travelling in South East Asia for 4 months, David returned to his roots and is now a full-time member of the team at Taylor Made as a Helpdesk Engineer. He is delighted to be back and working with the people who helped him to develop his skills in IT. David commented: “There are so many opportunities to progress at Taylor Made and I am so grateful to them for welcoming me back so many times. The team here is very supportive, and it is gratifying to work for a company that has such a good reputation and customer-focussed work ethic.” Managing Director Nigel Taylor congratulates David and says: “He has always been committed to his work and fits in so well here at Taylor Made. I am pleased he has decided to join us permanently as he is great with our clients and a credit to our dedicated support team. David is a key example to other students about the importance of having relevant work experience on their cv’s when businesses are looking to recruit in today’s economy.”
