The first Grand has been given away!

Christmas has come early for a great grandmother from the Stubbington area, who has scooped Fareham Shopping Centre’s £1,000 prize in their Autumn Grand Giveaway which was drawn earlier this week. The draw has been open since 1st August and attracted over 1,500 entries from hopeful shoppers. Mrs Dora Range (68) was delighted with her windfall and plans to spend in the money in the Centre on herself and her family, including new high chairs from Boots for her five month old twin great-grandchildren, Jack and Liam. She also opted for some ‘Game’ vouchers for her grandson Danny, something nice from New Look for granddaughter Natalie, and the rest of her winnings she took in Thomas Cook vouchers. She is planning to treat herself and her son, Craig and his two children, Tia and Dalton, to a Butlin’s holiday, as well as a short break with her daughter Lynn. Mrs Range commented: “This has really, really made my Christmas. I have never won anything like this before. I saw the draw advertised in the Centre about six weeks ago and didn’t imagine I would win when I posted my entry. ” Centre Manager Pam Gillard presented Mrs Range with her winnings outside the Centre and met young Jack and Liam too. Pam commented: “I am thrilled for Mrs Range and I very much enjoyed being the bearer of such happy tidings.” For shoppers who didn’t enter or who didn’t win this time, there’s another chance to enter and win £1,000 to spend in the Centre. The Winter Grand Giveaway runs from 1st November 2009 to 31st January 2010. All shoppers have to do to enter is to collect an entry form from the Centre, or download one from the website, www.farehamshopping.com.
