LogMeIn’s join.me Adds Instant Scheduling for Google App Users
BOSTON – August 14, 2014 — LogMeIn, Inc. (NASDAQ:LOGM), today unveiled a new integration between its online meeting app, join.me and Google Calendar to help business professionals get even more out of two of today’s most popular and intuitive cloud apps. The integration, which works with join.me pro and join.me enterprise accounts, is available via a free app extension in the Chrome Web Store.
Initially focused on simplifying schedules and sending quick meeting invites, the integration brings join.me directly into Google Calendar, making it possible to schedule and invite attendees right from a Google account. Meeting hosts can simply click on “Make it a join.me meeting” directly from the Google Calendar event screen, select built-in conference numbers, choose recipients, and hit send, as they normally would with a calendar invite.
“As more and more businesses embrace cloud-based apps, we’re taking the steps to make collaboration as an efficient and productive experience as possible,” said Craig Daniel, VP of Collaboration Products at LogMeIn. “By integrating Google Calendar and join.me -- two of the more popular cloud apps workers rely on daily -- we believe we can accelerate the business value of each through the intuitive and seamless experience today’s workers demand.”
