Loomis receives decision from the Spanish competition authority

Report this content

As previously communicated, initially in the interim report dated 2 May 2016, Loomis AB’s Spanish subsidiary, Loomis Spain, and a competitor on the Spanish market have been under investigation by the Spanish competition authority. The authority has now informed Loomis Spain of its decision and has fined Loomis Spain and its competitor. The fine imposed on Loomis Spain amounts to approximately EUR 7 million for alleged market sharing with its competitor.

Loomis maintains that it has acted in compliance with the laws in effect and accordingly disagrees with the content of the decision and the fine imposed. Loomis Spain therefore intends to appeal the decision in the Spanish courts.
