“We wanted the LED sources of the Modern Forms fixtures to be customized to each design,” said Shelley Wald of WAC Lighting and mastermind behind the new collection. “We designs with the flexibility of the light source in mind, and that allows us to do things that wouldn’t work with just any off-the-shelf light source.
For example, the NEO LED Bath Bar is just a half-inch deep, but provides generous illumination thanks to the LED flat-panel technology. The Vetri LED Bath Bar is another example, which features 13thcentury-style Piastra glass that illuminates in a way that can only be achieved with LED lighting.
“When it comes to modern design, we want something novel by lasting,” said Ward. “LED designs are really the answer to that, providing energy-sipping, maintenance free, quality light for years to come.”
