PP Pension successfully deploys fully automated fund trading, a milestone in their migration to Lumera’s policy administration platform.

Stockholm, January 12, 2022 – Lumera, working with implementation partner Future Core Cloud, has reached a significant milestone in a multiyear migration project with PP Pension, an occupational pension association for the Swedish media industry. The deployment of fully automated fund trading concludes the first of four planned phases in PP Pension’s migration to Lumera’s platform.

“Following a rapid implementation phase, we are truly impressed with Lumera’s solution and how it adds new capabilities to our fund trading offering. As clients’ expectations on digital experiences are continually raising, Lumera and Future Core Cloud provides the ideal match for meeting this challenge by migrating our core enterprise systems to a modern, future-proof SaaS environment,” says Kjell Norling, CEO, PP Pension.

PP Pension has invested in a turnkey Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution provided by Lumera and Future Core Cloud to benefit from a unified, cloud-native platform which enables migration of multiple legacy enterprise applications. Key objectives for the investment include increased productivity, enhanced quality, predictable operating costs, and to enable outstanding client experiences based on digitalization and automation.

“This is a significant step forward for our commitment to PP Pension and their clients, as well as for our partnership with Future Core Cloud. We believe that this migration project will serve as a model for future SaaS implementations of our platform,” says Mats Lillienberg, CEO, Lumera.

With a background as financial industry consultants, Future Core Cloud combines extensive industry experience from life insurance and pensions with solid expertise in Lumeras’s policy administration platform. Through the Lumera partnership, Future Core Cloud offers turnkey Lumera solutions to mid-market life insurers and pension associations.

“Our mission is not just about migrating PP Pension to Lumera’s modern platform, it also involves establishing SaaS as the new model for application delivery. We take care to address this transformation as a separate challenge, as it is essential for success,” says Johan Modig, CEO, Future Core Cloud.
