Sleep 2012 provides the perfect platform for Lyndon Design to debut an inspirational seating collection that flaunts an innovative and modern twist on a classic buttoned back sofa collection. The company will also exhibit several new soft seating upholstery ranges and occasional table collections, including collaborations with award-winning furniture designer Mark Gabbertas, together with a display of bespoke banquette seating for which Lyndon Design is renowned.

Epitomising all that Lyndon Design stands for - quality, elegance and unrivalled British craftsmanship - the new seating collection, complete with separate back and two tiered cushions suspended on a hardwood frame, serves to provide the ultimate in indulgence and luxury. Designed in-house by Lyndon Design, the new collection will be available in an armchair, and two and three seater sofa options.

Two new soft seating upholstery collections - Framed and Orten - will also be on display at the show. Designed in collaboration with Mark Gabbertas, they are perfect for the hotel and hospitality environments. Whilst Framed features a distinctive hardwood timber structure that has been skillfully designed and sculptured to hug the luxurious internal upholstery, Orten offers a more classic proposition that provides the specifier with added versatility and the option to evolve and scale. The recently launched Metro table collection will also be on display.

Experienced in the design and manufacture of bespoke upholstery, Lyndon Design’s banquette seating offers a flexible solution; from dining areas within a staff café or fine restaurant, to collaborative and breakout spaces. Skillfully designed to fit almost any given environment and to meet specific ergonomic and spatial requirements, Lyndon Design’s banquette seating is supported by a complete consultative service. This serves to provide the ultimate in detail and sophistication, and further exemplifies why Lyndon Design continues to be the favourite of architects and specifiers worldwide.

Commenting on its presence at Sleep, Managing Director, Tim Armitt said: “Sleep is the perfect platform to showcase our latest products and to demonstrate our product design and manufacturing capabilities, in particular our bespoke offer which is regularly called upon by leading four star, five star, and boutique hotels across the globe.”

Tim adds: “With over 30 years of design and manufacturing expertise, we are perfectly poised to take the hotel and hospitality sectors by storm by providing classic and definitive handcrafted upholstered furniture solutions. We are immensely proud of our heritage and design capability, and delighted to continue to support the hotel and hospitality markets which, with the continuing involvement and dynamism of great British design and craftsmanship, will continue to go from strength to strength.”
