Jersey Shore Town Announces Fashion Week-END Extravaganza
Spring Lake Retailers Spotlight the Season’s Hottest Trends with More Magazine, Promote the Jersey Shore is Open for Business
SPRING LAKE, NJ - The Borough of Spring Lake today announced plans to host the Third Annual Spring Lake Fashion Week-END Extravaganza. The event will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 with a fashion-forward grand opening celebration at the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club. The style-inspired weekend will continue on Saturday, April 27 as the town’s premier boutiques, independent retailers, hair and beauty salons, and restaurants offer a full day of designer trunk shows, make-up demonstrations, salon specials, wine tastings, prix-fixe dinners and more.
“The Spring Lake Fashion Week-END Extravaganza is a wonderful celebration of all of the independent retailers located throughout Spring Lake’s beautiful downtown. Our boutiques not only offer the latest designs, but unique products and one-of-a-kind professional services. We think a fun, fashion-inspired spring weekend is just what the Jersey Shore needs following the myriad hardships experienced by our local community in the months following Hurricane Sandy,” commented Kelly Lipfert, owner of Spring Lake’s Urban Details.
A sold-out success for the past two years, the Kick-off Party will welcome fashionistas and style gurus from throughout the region to the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club to catch a glimpse of the season’s most sought-after designs. Hosted by More magazine’s fashion features editor Susan Swimmer, the Kick-off Party will feature a red-carpet arrival for guests, hors d'oeuvres, a wine tasting courtesy of Egan's Spring Lake Liquors, and a professionally produced runway show to showcase the latest trends from the hottest Spring Lake boutiques.
Retailers and salons participating in the Third Annual Spring Lake Week-END Extravaganza include: Another Angle, ArtEffects, BareWires, Camel’s Eye, Children’s Clothes Closet, EurOrganics, Irish Centre, Juli Mei, Linger, Samantha’s, The Spot, Tranquilla Nail Spa, Urban Details, Waterlily, Salon Kokopelli, Spring Lake Jewelers and more. The grand kick-off party at The Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club will happen from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Tickets for the event are $45.
