Stefan Gardefjord to become managing director of M2S

Stefan Gardefjord to become managing director of M2S Stefan Gardefjord has been employed as managing director of M2S. Stefan Gardefjord joins M2S from WM-data, where he has held a number of executive positions since 1987, most recently as Group Executive Vice President responsible for the Industries business area. Harald Nilsonne, managing director of M2S and the principal share holder of the company, will continue full-time as Working Chairman of the Board. The current Board Chairman, Carl-Diedric Hamilton, will continue as Vice Chairman. "After nearly a decade as managing director of M2S, I have decided to change the content of my work and am now looking forward to mainly focusing on the company's long-term strategy and growth," says Harald Nilsonne. "The past year represented an important milestone in our development into an international software company and we now have the ambition of growing into a major international player within our market segment. Stefan Gardefjord (42) is currently Executive Vice President of the WM- data Group, responsible for the Industries business area. This involves expertise, services and solutions for specific vertical industrial segments and the Group's combined activities in serving important key accounts. During his years at WM-data, Stefan has held leading positions in Group management as well as in different subsidiaries. As a result, Stefan has worked with most of the WM-data Group's operations, such as consulting services, business systems, system development, system integration and outsourcing. Stefan has also been operatively responsible for several acquisitions and the subsequent integration work. The proposal regarding election of the Chairman and Vice Chairman is supported by shareholders that combined represent more than 50% of the shares.
