Europital Launches FLYINGMEDEX Program in the Middle East
At the recent World Health Care Congress in Abu Dhabi, Europital CEO, Dr. Mohamed El Malt, MD, PhD presented the FLYING MEDEX program to attendees during a special symposium entitled: Globalization of Healthcare - The Future Role of International Medical Experts.
Dr. El Malt, together with guest panelists, explained how FLYING MEDEX provides the ideal solution to the shortage of medical experts, and how connecting hospitals across the Middle East to international experts is essential for the future standard of healthcare in the region. One distinct talking point, which was raised by other speakers throughout the main WHCC conference, was the shortage of medical experts in the region; especially when compared to the existing and planned healthcare infrastructure which makes attracting further medical experts crucial to the future standard of healthcare.
“The reaction we received from the region was extremely positive,” comments Dr. El Malt. “The region has some very impressive facilities but lacks the required volume of expertise in order to raise the standard of medical facilities. During the symposium we could see, first-hand, that FLYING MEDEX can provide a much-needed solution for the region.”
The FLYING MEDEX session included guest speakers Dr. Abhay Chopda, Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon from Ealing Hospital NHS Trust in the UK, and Mr Wagdi Zayed, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Alsharq Healthcare Group in UAE. Both speakers gave their perspective on the important role International Medical Experts play in global healthcare and shared their own experience of using this model.
