Press Release: Europital starts FLYING MEDEX European Roadshow in Athens
The Europital team has just completed a Medical Expert Introduction event in Athens for its FLYING MEDEX program. The round-table presentation for medical experts in Greece, was held on 17 January 2013, and attracted 26 experts covering 18 specialties.
Hosted by CEO, Dr Mohamed El Malt MD, PhD, the event gave attendees an introduction to the FLYING MEDEX program, including a full demonstration of the software, and focused on how their expertise is valuable to hospitals around the world.
“When FLYING MEDEX was first announced at the end of last year, we received a great reaction from experts in Greece,” explains Dr El Malt. “Therefore we decided to start the FLYING MEDEX European roadshow in the city of Athens and bring together a select group of medical experts, who could potentially participate in the program.”
This event in Greece follows the official launch of the FLYING MEDEX program at the World Health Care Congress in Abu Dhabi, in December 2012. Dr El Malt, together with guest panelists, explained how FLYING MEDEX provides the ideal solution to the shortage of medical experts worldwide, and how connecting hospitals across the Middle East to international experts is essential for the future standard of healthcare in the region.
The FLYING MEDEX session included guest speakers Dr Abhay Chopada, Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon from Ealing Hospital NHS Trust in the UK and Mr Wagdi Zayed, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Alsharq Healthcare Group in UAE. Both speakers gave their perspective on the important role International Medical Experts play in global healthcare, and shared their own experience using this model.
