Continuing to Exceed Distance Limitations, Magenta to Exhibit Expanded Switching and Extension Solutions at ISE 2013
New Milford, CT, USA, 3 December, 2012 -- Magenta Research, a recognised leader in Pro AV signal switching, extension and distribution, will use the 2013 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Tradeshow, 29-31 January, Amsterdam RAI, to exhibit new technology that is engineered to equip integrators with even more ways to disperse high-resolution video, audio, serial and other auxiliary signals across fibre-optic and twisted-pair cabling.
Magenta’s booth (#11-C84) will be anchored by a live Voyager ultra-fast switching demonstration that illustrates just how rapidly a fibre-optic based Voyager VG-Matrix 160 switch can change between sources (even digital inputs with HDCP) and get that input displayed on an end point. Voyager switching technology eliminates any blank or black screens that are common when lesser matrix switching products take extended time to negotiate video parameters.
Other new Voyager products on display include the just-released four-port core, which increases the distribution options of both Voyager transmitters, and the Voyager SRx scaling receiver, a product that allows users to scale digital or analogue video from a selection of 30 different resolutions and refresh rates in order to ensure complete adaptability with any monitor or screen. New Voyager products being debuted at ISE include a Voyager wall plate transmitter (perfect for conference rooms or floor boxes) and a Voyager Pro Audio module that offers the ability to introduce balanced audio signals into any Voyager application.
Magenta will also be demonstrating its newly revamped MultiView II line up, the Pro A/V industry’s definitive solution for extending, switching and distributing high-resolution video, audio and serial signals over UTP cable. Armed with a reach of 2,000 feet (609m) and switching solutions from 16x16 to 256x512, MultiView II products feature improved circuitry, all exterior configuration and revamped DDC/EDID modes of operation, all of which lead to even easier 1080p (and higher) video replication.
Two additional new products debuting at ISE 2013 are Magenta’s HD-One DX500 and HD-OneLX500 HDMI extension products. Continuing the company’s history of overcoming distance barriers, these products deliver HDCP-protected digital video 500 feet (150 metres) over a single Cat6, far surpassing the 100m limit of similar products. The HD-One DX500 extends embedded HDMI audio in addition to video, while the HD-One LX500 adds support for two-way serial and IR signals.
“Magenta approaches signal distribution with two guiding principles – present a comprehensive, interoperable solution and eliminate risk for those selecting, installing and maintaining our products,“ stated Magenta’s International Sales Director Rob Muddiman. “The new products being shown at ISE hold steady to our standards by bolstering the functionality and interoperability of our signal management solutions, while offering 24/7/365 uptime and top performance.”
