Sky's the limit for Hertfordshire cloud computing firm
New Hertfordshire-based start up Actual Virtual plans to capitalise on the growing UK market for cloud-based computing, it was announced today.
The ambitious technology specialist, located in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire has already secured UK distribution rights for global manufacturers including LG Electronics.
LG Electronics has named Actual Virtual as specialist UK distributor for its cloud-based range of standalone devices and all-in-one monitors for the growing virtual desktop market.
Virtual desktops enable businesses, schools, hospitals and public sector organisations to reduce the cost of maintaining and upgrading their computers by shifting their software to a central server.
Nigel Roberts from LG said: “Actual Virtual showed us the hunger and passion coupled with the specialist expertise and understanding that we were looking for to capitalise on this exciting, fast growing market.”
