2010 sees the second year of Mahiki’s pop up event at Henley Royal Regatta. Mahiki Henley 2009 took The Regatta by storm. Event Bar Specialists Gorilla Events joined forces with Mahiki Tiki Gods and succeeded in creating a Mahiki home away from home. Last year saw the likes of Sarah Harding sipping a pina colada from a frozen pineapple, Kelly Osbourne and Luke Worrell smooching and the lovely Daisy Lowe upping the style stakes. Last year, Mahiki brought the largest riverside bar the Royal Regatta has seen in over 8 years. This year, In partnership with Bacardi, Mahiki Henley 2010 promises to be the biggest party the river has ever seen with a 1,500 capacity. Open from 10am until late, guests will be able to view the races from a raised platform. Mahiki trademark cocktails made with a range of Bacardi rums, and refreshing Gallo wines will be served from the Mahiki pop up bar and guests will be treated to the delights of a Tiki themed Beach Grill serving succulent shrimps and refreshing salads. Guests will arrive on the Mahiki helicopter onto the private Mahiki helipad and transported by golf buggy to the private Mahiki zone. Guests with Gold Passes will be treated to luxury bathrooms and raised terraced views of the races. Within the Mahiki zone, as well as the day's activities, dedicated plasma screens covering all sporting events at Wimbledon and the World Cup will be shown. Availability for the Gold Pass bookings is limited but access to the Mahiki tent on Wednesday through to Sunday can be bought in advance on our website. 2010 Mahiki Henley will be double the capacity of Mahiki Henley 2009, which attracted over 40,000 spectators through its doors. Mahiki Henley 2010 is set to be the best riverside party Henley has every seen.
