Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and CTX Ability Sports Bring Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Katy, TX
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Micah Bowie, Charlton Jimerson and other MLB Alumni
Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) and CTX Ability Sports have teamed up to hold a full inclusion Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic. Children will have the opportunity to play with their big league heroes on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.
Players attending* include six-year MLB veteran Micah Bowie and former Astros Charlton Jimerson and Billy Smith, as well as Jeffrey DeWillis, Doug Gwosdz and Mark Little.
The clinic will take place at Katy American Little League, running from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., located at 24927 Morton Road, Katy, TX 77493. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, baserunning and life skills. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. The afternoon will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
