Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings "Swing with the Legends" Golf Classic to Fort Worth, TX
Golf tournament to feature Danny Darwin, Jeff Russell and other MLB Alumni
Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring former Texas Rangers, MLB All-Stars, and other alumni. The event will take place on Thursday, October 15th.
Alumni players attending* the event include 21-year veteran and 1990 National League ERA leader Danny Darwin, 1991 American League Comeback Player of the Year award winner José Guzmán, 1989 American League Saves Leader and Reliever of the Year Jeff Russell and former All-Star Don Stanhouse as well as Benji Gil, Kevin Mench, Claude Osteen, Eddie Robinson and Ellis Valentine.
The tournament will take place at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club, starting with registration at 10:00 a.m. located at 600 Promontory Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76248. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. followed by an awards dinner at 6:30 p.m.
