Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings "Swing with the Legends" Golf Classic to Havre de Grace, MD

Golf tournament to feature Cal Ripken, Jr., Fergie Jenkins, Phil Niekro and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring Hall of Famers, former Orioles, MLB All-Stars, Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award winners and other alumni. The golf tournament will take place on Friday, September 25th. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

Alumni players attending* the event include Hall of Famers Fergie Jenkins, Phil Niekro and Cal Ripken, Jr., as well as Mike Bielecki, Al Bumbry, Jim Coates, Doug Creek, Rene Gonzales, Ross Grimsley, Ron Hansen, Chris Hoiles, Dave Johnson, Brian Kowitz, Scott McGregor, Dickie Noles, Steve Rogers, Don Stanhouse, Garrett Stephenson and Bill Swaggerty.

The event will take place at the Bulle Rock Gold Club, located at 320 Blenheim Road, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, starting with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. After the tournament there will be an awards dinner, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
