Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings "Swing with the Legends" Golf Classic to Milwaukee

Golf tournament to feature Robin Yount, Greg Vaughn, Fred McGriff and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring Hall of Famers, former Brewers, MLB All-Stars, Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award winners and other alumni. A celebrity reception will take place Sunday, August 10th and the golf tournament will take place on Monday, August 11th. Proceeds from this event will benefit Trayton Fields and the Brewers Community Foundation.

Alumni players attending* the event include Hall of Famer Robin Yount, four-time All-Star Greg Vaughn, 1995 World Series champion Fred McGriff, as well as Don August, Jack Baldschun, Dennis Biddle, Jarvis Brown, Mike Caldwell, Bill “Soup” Campbell, Buzz Capra, Jim Ganter, Bob Hansen, Gene Hiser, Randy Hundley, Thomas Klawitter, Peter Ladd, Rich Loiselle, John Martin, Kevin Mench, Charlie Moore, Don Money, Willie Mueller, Jack Perconte, Paul Popovich, Tim Pyznarski, Ken Sanders, Bill Sharp, Roy Sievers, Jim Slaton, Eric Soderholm, Tom Tellman, Gorman Thomas, Paul Wagner, Al Weis and Steve Woodard.

The celebrity reception will take place on Sunday, August 10th at 6:00 p.m., hosted at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa, located at 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. The golf event the following day will also take place at the Grand Geneva, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. After the tournament there will be an awards dinner, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
