Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings "Swing with the Legends" Golf Classic to Waxhaw, NC

Golf tournament to feature Bobby Bolin, Billy O’Dell and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will be hosting a “Swing with the Legends” golf tournament to benefit Baseball for Life, a non-profit focused on enhancing the lives of children through a baseball mentoring program, and the North Carolina chapter of the ALS Association. The event will take place on Monday, November 11th, 2013.

Alumni players attending the event include Bobby Bolin, Billy O’Dell, Dick Bosman, Jim Fairey, JC Martin, Bob Patterson, Lary Sorensen, Elias Sosa and Sammy Stewart.

The tournament will take place at The Club at Longview, starting with registration at 9:00 a.m. located at 8801 Longview Club Drive, Waxhaw, NC 28173. There will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. followed by an awards dinner, cocktail reception and silent auction beginning at 3:00 p.m.
