Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic and Coaches Clinic Series to Welland, ON

Free baseball clinics to feature three MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth and coaches will have an opportunity to learn from big league stars at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth coaches clinic series on Friday, October 4th, 2019 and Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Saturday, October 5th, 2019. In conjunction with Scott Bullett, the free Legends for Youth clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach children baseball skills, drills and life lessons, concluding with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance. The coaches clinic will feature MLB veterans who will instruct local coaches, parents, volunteers and students on proper fundamentals, drills and techniques of coaching and running a practice.

Players attending* include 1997 Florida Marlins World Series champion and former Toronto Blue Jay Gregg Zaun, Bullett Proof Prospects Baseball Club operator Scott Bullett and Toronto native and catcher for Team Canada in the 1988 Baseball World Cup Greg O’Halloran.

  • October 4: Coaches clinic check-in beginning at 5:00 p.m. with instruction running from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To register for the coaches clinic, please visit www.coachclinics.org. Registration is required.
  • October 5: Legends for Youth clinic check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. with instruction running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Registration is closed at this time.
