Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Leesport, PA
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Dickie Noles, Derrick May and other MLB Legends
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players 3Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Thursday, August 18th, 2016. In partnership with Big Vision Foundation, the free clinic features current and former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth.
Players attending* include World Series champion Dickie Noles and 10-year MLB veteran Derrick May, as well as Brian Bass, Joel Bennett, Frank Bolick, Garrett Stephenson, Corey Thurman and LaRue Washington. These eight players combine for 39 seasons, 1498 games and 695 hits in Major League Baseball.
The clinic will take place at Big Vision Sports Complex, running from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., located at 1098 County Welfare Rd, Leesport, PA 19533. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the morning will conclude with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.
