Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Boise, ID

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Bill Buckner, Logan Easley and Eric Fox

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have the opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Saturday, November 5th, 2016. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.

 

Players attending* include All-Star first baseman and left fielder Bill Buckner, who won the 1980 NL batting title batting .324 to lead the league, right-handed pitcher Logan Easley who pitched for the 1987 and 1989 Pittsburgh Pirates and outfielder Eric Fox, who hit five home runs for Team USA in the 1983 Intercontinental Cup.

 

The clinic will take place at Sandlot Sports Complex, running from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., located at 4741 N Glenwood St., Boise, ID 83714. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the morning will conclude with an autograph session, baseball giveaways and lunch for children in attendance.
