Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to West Palm, FL

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Antonio Alfonseca, Alex Arias and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Thursday, October 18th, 2018. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth.

Players attending* include 1997 Florida Marlins World Series champion teammates Antonio Alfonseca and Alex Arias, as well as Joe Grahe, Jim Lyttle, Rusty Meacham, Brad Pennington and Tim Wood. These seven players combine for 53 seasons, 188 saves and 2,299 games in Major League Baseball.

The clinic will take place at FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches – Washington Nationals Practice Field #2, spring training home of the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros, running from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., located at 5444 Haverhill Road, West Palm, FL 33407. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, baserunning and life skills. Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the evening will conclude with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.
