Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to China
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Chinese youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series. The MLBPAA’s third trip to China since the Legends for Youth baseball clinic series’ inception will feature MLB veteran Anthony Slama and former catcher Nick McCoy. Slama’s career spanned two seasons, both spent as a right-handed pitcher with the Minnesota Twins. McCoy spent time in the New York Yankees farm system with the Staten Island Yankees, Charleston RiverDogs and Trenton Thunder. The clinics and autograph sessions will occur from Friday, November 2nd through Thursday, November 8th, as listed below.
The clinics will take place across the country at various venues. Clinicians will train at different instructional stations for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16. The clinics will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.

- Friday, November 2: Legends for Youth Clinic in Beijing, China held at Kaiwen School, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 3: Legends for Youth Clinic in Jiangsu, China held at Amigo Sports Facility, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Sunday, November 4: Legends for Youth Clinic in Chengdu, China held at Bang Sports Facility, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 6: Legends for Youth Clinic in Shenzhen, China held at Shenzhen Development Center, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 7: Legends for Youth Clinic in Shenzhen, China held at Spring Cocoon Stadium, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, November 8: Legends for Youth Clinic in Changzhou, China held at Changzhou MLB Development Center, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
