Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Panama
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Panamanian youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series. The free clinics will feature* current MLB free agent right-handed pitcher Paolo Espino and MLB veterans Carlos Lee and Olmedo Saenz who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons to local youth. Espino pitched in 2017 with the Milwaukee Brewers and Texas Rangers. Lee is a three-time All-Star and won Silver Slugger Awards in 2005 and 2007 notching 2,273 hits and 358 home runs in 2,099 games during his 14-year career. Infielder Saenz played nine seasons in the majors with the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers. Saenz collected 438 hits, 73 home runs and 275 RBI in 733 games. The clinics and autograph sessions will occur from Thursday, December 13th through Sunday, December 16th, as listed below.
The clinics will take place at MVP Sport City, located at Avenida Domingo Diaz, San Miguelito, Panama. Clinicians will train at different instructional stations for local youth ages 6 – 16. The clinics will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.

- Thursday, December 13: Legends for Youth Clinic in San Miguelito held at MVP Sport City, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, December 14: Legends for Youth Clinic in San Miguelito held at MVP Sport City, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Saturday, December 15: Legends for Youth Clinic in San Miguelito held at MVP Sport City, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Sunday, December 16: Legends for Youth Clinic in San Miguelito held at MVP Sport City,from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
