Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Chico, CA

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Gary Roenicke and Fernando Vina

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Sunday, June 9th, 2019. In conjunction with Chevy Youth Baseball, the free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons, concluding with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.

Players attending* include 1983 Baltimore Orioles World Series champion Gary Roenicke and two-time National League Gold Glove Award winner and All-Star Fernando Vina, as well as John DeSilva, Huck Flener, Ricky Jordan, Randy Lerch, Tyler Robertson and Tom Urbani. These players combine for 54 seasons, 2,529 hits and 3,300 games in Major League Baseball.

Time: Clinic check-in beginning at 12:30 p.m. with instruction running from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
