Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Thursday, July 25th, 2019. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons, concluding with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.
Players attending* include UCCS Mountain Lions head baseball coach Dave Hajek, UCCS Mountain Lions assistant baseball coach Mark Lee and former Colorado Rockies utility player Terry Shumpert, as well as Jim Deidel, Bob Johnson, Mark Knudson and Gary Krug. These seven players combine for 32 seasons and 1,205 games in Major League Baseball.

- Time: Clinic check-in beginning at 4:30 p.m. with instruction running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
