Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Denver

Free youth baseball clinic to feature nine MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons, concluding with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.

Players attending* include former Rockies pitcher Jason Hirsh and two-time All-Star and 15-year MLB veteran pitcher Bob Knepper, as well as Terry Bogener, Jim Deidel, Bruce Egloff, Geno Espineli, Brian Fisher, Gary Krug and Mark Lee. These nine players combine for 34 seasons, 197 wins and 869 games in Major League Baseball.

  • Time: Clinic check-in beginning at 5:00 p.m. with instruction running from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
