Free youth baseball clinic to feature seven MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons, concluding with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.

Players attending* include 1983 Baltimore Orioles World Series champion Gary Roenicke and two-time Gold Glove Award winner Fernando Vina, as well as Tim Fortugno, Ricky Jordan, Jalal Leach, Tyler Robertson and Rich Troedson. These seven players combine for 40 seasons, 2,467 hits and 3,080 games in Major League Baseball.

  • Time: Clinic check-in beginning at 4:00 p.m. with instruction running from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
