MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BRINGS LEGENDS FOR YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC SERIES TO PINELLAS PARK, FL
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Mike Devereaux and John Frascatore
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Saturday, January 18th, 2014. The free baseball clinic series features Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.
Alumni players attending* include Mike Devereaux, John Frascatore, Jim Archer, Lenny Faedo, Bill Hepler, Aaron Ledesma, Bill Nahorodny and Doug Waechter.
The clinic will take place at the Canterbury School of Florida from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. located at 990 62nd Avenue NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. The afternoon will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
