Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to San Antonio, TX

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Gary Bell, Odie Davis and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at two Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinics this weekend on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th, 2014. In partnership with Chevy Youth Baseball, the free clinics feature former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.

Players attending* include three-time All-Star Gary Bell, Odie Davis, Lavell Blanks, Micah Bowie, Norman Charlton, Sherman Corbett, Jeff Dewillis, Cliff Johnson, Mike Smith and George Williams.

The clinics will take place at Wolff Stadium, home of the San Antonio Missions. Located at 5757 U.S. 90, San Antonio, TX 78227, both clinics will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The clinic will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
