Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Brooksville, FL

Free youth baseball clinic to feature John Frascatore, Andy McGaffigan and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series this weekend on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. In partnership with CEMEX, the free baseball clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.

Players attending* include John Frascatore, Andy McGaffigan, Jim Archer, Greg Blosser, Bill Hepler, Eddie Looper, Richie Scheinblum, Bob Stinson, Anthony Telford and Brian Tollberg. These 10 players combine for more than 56 years and 2,253 games in Major League Baseball.

The clinic will take place at Tom Varn Park, running from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., located at 306 Darby Lane, Brooksville, FL 34601. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. The afternoon will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
