MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BRINGS LEGENDS FOR YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC TO DENVER
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Bob Knepper, Mark Knudson, Brian Fisher and other MLB Alumni
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013. The free baseball clinic features Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills, and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.
Alumni players attending include Bob Knepper, Mark Knudson, Brian Fisher, Norm Angelini, Bobby Johnson, Gary Krug, Fran Mullins, Vernon Rapp, Mike Thompson, Jim Todd and Gary Wayne.
The clinic will take place at Coca Cola All-Star Park from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. located at 200 South Harlan Street, Lakewood, CO 80226. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running, and life skills. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The afternoon will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
