MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BRINGS LEGENDS FOR YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC TO SAN MARCOS
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Joel Horlen, Larvell Blanks, and other MLB Alumni
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic on Saturday, July 27th, 2013. The free baseball clinic features Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills, and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.
Alumni players attending include Joel Horlen, Larvell Blanks, Bill Bethea, Micah Bowie, Michael Smith, and George Williams.
The clinic will take place at Bowie Baseball Academy on the North Carolina Furniture Direct (NCFD) Farm Club property from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. located at 605 Old Zorn Road, San Marcos, TX, 78666. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running, and life skills. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The morning will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
