Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic Series to Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local coaches will have an opportunity to learn from former big league stars at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth Coaches Clinic Series on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will instruct local coaches, parents, volunteers and students on proper fundamentals, drills and techniques of coaching and running a practice.
Players attending* include UCCS Mountain Lions head baseball coach Dave Hajek and UCCS Mountain Lions assistant baseball coach Mark Lee, as well as Mark Knudson, Gary Krug and Terry Shumpert. These five players combine for 28 seasons and 1,105 games in Major League Baseball.
The clinic will take place at Mountain Lion Park, home of the Mountain Lions, running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., located at 660 North Campus Heights, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session for all participants.
